Once again, politeness is child’s play.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an incident that occurred Sunday morning in which a 1-year-old was shot and wounded while reportedly playing with a 3-year-old inside of a residence.

(snip)

The shooting took place at around 11:50 a.m. at a home off of Lightview Lane. The 1-year-old’s father had been outside of the house smoking a cigarette when he heard the firearm discharge. Upon re-entering the home, the man and his wife found the two children and a hand gun.

In an unusual development, the victim was only grazed by the bullet.

The polite may be seated.

Documents say the 20-year-old went to move a shotgun off an ottoman so he could sit down, and the gun went off.

The gun blast hit 20-year-old Omar Davis in the face, according to Phoenix Police. Davis did not survive.

Court records show Molina told investigators he pulled the trigger as he picked up the shotgun because it was never loaded.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. I was taught never to put my finger on the trigger unless I planned to shoot.

The stupid. It burns.

Practice random acts of politeness.

Some drivers are on extra alert in Hawley. They tell Newswatch 16 shots were fired into their cars as they traveled along Route 6 and now state police are investigating.

“I am just driving along listening to my music, jamming out, and all of a sudden, my windshield breaks. I was scared.”

For Kaitlyn McGrath, Tuesday night was supposed to be like any other night in Wayne County. Just before 11 p.m., the woman from Hawley was on her way to pick up her husband from work. As she was driving along Route 6 in Hawley, she heard a noise.

A shingle instance of politeness . . . .

A homicide investigation is underway in Riverview after a 44-year-old man was shot and killed installing a new roof on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

(snip)

“The person who fired the shot was actually getting out of his truck, slipped on a piece of construction debris,” Losat said. “At this point, he was transitioning the gun between the waistband, his pocket, at some point where the gun is fired unintentionally.”

Just another day in NRA Paradise . . . .

An 18-year-old student shot at the STEM School in Highlands Ranch has died, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said, and two male students are in custody for the shooting that injured multiple other students.

(snip)

The suspects went “deep inside the school” and engaged in two locations, he said. The suspects used at least one handgun but it was unknown what other weapons might have been used.

Check out the politeness.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office told the Tampa Bay Times on Monday that deputies’ investigation shows that 69-year-old Vernon Messier was shot Sunday when his wife’s purse fell off a counter at a Land O’ Lake Publix, causing the two-shot derringer inside to fire.

Just plane politeness.

Ty Hiers who was piloting the plane says it started off like any other day of cropdusting and although he didn’t hear any gunshots he did notice something which made him uneasy.”That particular day, that particular field I did see an older gentleman, he came outside and he was holding a cardboard sign and at the altitude I was at and the turn I could not tell what the sign said. But he was acting in a manner that he really didn’t want me in the area.”

After he landed he did a routine check of the aircraft where he noticed a bullet hole in his fan blade and on his wheel strut.

“We got very blessed with where it actually hit. If it had been an inch further or behind it would have missed that strut altogether and would have punctured a fuel tank.”

One more time: “Responsible gun owner” is an oxymoron.

Drive with courtesy.

A one-year-old boy has been shot and wounded in what Houston police believe was a road rage attack.

Detectives believe the attacker fired two shots after flying into a violent rage when he was cut off near a Southwest Freeway gas station yesterday afternoon.

The suspect apparently produced a handgun when the 18-month-old child’s father, who has hearing problems, got out of his car to apologize for cutting him off.

The hunt for politeness continues.

Micalla Rettinger was driving her boyfriend, Adam Kimball, and one other person around 2:30 a.m. when a gunshot shattered the driver’s side window, hitting Rettinger in the neck and then continuing on to strike her boyfriend in the passenger’s seat.

(snip)

Maj. Joe Leibold of the Waterloo Police Department told ABC News they are looking into the possibility that an illegal hunter fired the fatal shot.

“It’s a state park out that way. … There’s islands out that way. We’ve been made aware that some illegal hunting may have been taking place on a couple of those locations,” Leibold said.

“Responsible gun owner” is an oymoron.

Be polite to our animal friends.

An 18-year-old Mississippi man has been charged with killing two pet pigs.

(snip)

The case began with reports from a county resident and her son who said that on Feb. 25 of this year, they found one of their tame boar hogs with a gunshot to its head inside its pen.

At the time, there was little information to go on, Ogden said. However, on Wednesday of last week, after hearing a gunshot in the area the owners found that their second boar hog had been shot.

Some persons are driven to politeness.

Deputies say a black SUV stopped abruptly in the right-hand lane near the stop light in Boones Mill. The woman moved into the left lane to avoid an accident and continued driving. The black SUV then began driving in front of and behind the woman. She says a woman was driving the SUV and a man in the back seat shot rounds at her vehicle, flattening the tire.

After reviewing video from a local business, deputies were able to identify the suspect vehicle as a black Nissan SUV.

Politeness is a family value.

Police said the father was cleaning his shotgun but as he went to put it away, he tripped and the loaded gun went off.

It’s unclear where the little girl was shot.

Police said she was alert and asking questions when first responders got to the scene.
