Politeness begins at home.

Glover was showing Bryant his .410 caliber shotgun and was putting it away when the gun went off.

Glover placed the round he’d removed from the gun back into it and was closing it when Bryant slapped at the gun.

Officials said it is likely Glover’s finger was on the trigger when Bryant slapped at the gun. Bryant was shot at nearly point blank range in the stomach and died at the home.

I’m sure that my two or three regular readers roll their eyes when they see the title of this post over and over again.

Celebrate birthdays politely.

King County prosecutors claim Christopher Dunn panicked on seeing the boys dash through his property. Dunn, 36, is alleged to have chased them down and pointed a pistol at them, apparently fearing they were burglars.

Dunn “chased down two teenage boys, held a semiautomatic pistol on them, threatened to kill them and then searched them police-style, taking a cell phone from one,” Deputy Prosecutor Ian Ith said in charging papers. “Why? Because some of the victims’ friends had been trespassing in (his) yard while playing a game of ‘cops and robbers.’”

A teen gunman armed with a rifle shot and killed a student Tuesday and injured a teacher before he likely killed himself at a high school in a quiet Columbia River town in Oregon, authorities said.

The victim was identified a 14-year-old freshman Emilio Hoffman, who was “loved by all,” police Chief Scott Anderson said at a Tuesday news conference. He said Emilio was found in the boys’ locker room.

“Good guys with guns” is a myth, a lie, a fairytale, a stimulant for the diminutive phallus brigade, a marketing ploy, a sounding bell and a tinkling cymbal signifying nothing–nothing other than more sales for the Merchants of Death.

Officials say a 21-year-old man was shot in the upper right part of his body with a 12 gauge shotgun by his 16-year-old friend.

The friend told sheriff’s deputies that he did not realize the gun was loaded.

Hours after a man and woman killed two police officers at an east Las Vegas pizza restaurant and then gunned down another victim at a nearby Wal-Mart before killing themselves, a picture of the shooters began to emerge.

Residents at an apartment complex where it appeared the two lived together said they had a reputation for spouting racist, anti-government views, bragging about their gun collection and boasting that they’d spent time at Cliven Bundy’s ranch during a recent standoff there between armed militia members and federal government agents.

As he entered the living room he switched the weapon mounted flashlight on and the firearm discharged hitting Austin in the head.

The way the story is worded implies that this was yet another gun that decided to go off on its ownsome. We know, however, that’s not the case; it’s another gun owner too stupid to own a gun.

Be polite to your neighbors.

It happened around 11:45 p.m. Thursday at a house on Maple Street. Police say Alexander Hogan, 23, was clearing his 9 mm handgun inside the living room of his first floor apartment. Officials say he accidentally discharged a round into the ceiling. Nobody was injured but police say it was a narrow miss for the upstairs residents.

Because knocking on the wrong door is impolite, the polite take action.

A man who accidentally banged on the door of a stranger’s house early this morning was shot by the homeowner, Metro Police said.

The victim had been at a birthday party at a nearby house in the 9200 block of Wittig Avenue, near Fort Apache and Elkhorn roads, Metro Lt. Ted Glaude said. He and a friend left briefly, and when they tried returning about 2 a.m., they confused the two houses and knocked on the wrong door, police said.

Exercise courtesy on the highways.

They (“the family”–ed.) say James “Tony” McKenzie had a carry permit and his family says he always kept a gun on him.

He was driving north on Highway 58 around 3:30 p.m. when somehow the gun went off shooting him in the upper leg.

He “bled out,” as coroners like to say on the telly vision, before help arrived.

Newton County authorities say a 3-year-old southwest Missouri girl died after being shot in the head at her home.

Sheriff Ken Copeland said . . . the death is currently being investigated as an accident.

State police say the Windber man charged with shooting his pregnant girlfriend Saturday told responders he accidentally shot her in the face after breaking his shotgun during an argument.
